TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR WEDDING SERVICES AND PHOTO SESSIONS

Any reservation of a photo session carried out by “MY ROOTS & MY WINGS PHOTOGRAPHY” entails full adherence to the General Terms and Conditions. The customer acknowledges having read all of the general conditions of sale and having understood their content in their entirety. The deposit paid for the reservation will constitute acceptance of these conditions.

1-Reservation

The reservation is not final and the date is not reserved until receipt of the deposit.

Gift cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

They are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

2-Payment

All reservations for photographic work (prints or albums), or orders for gift cards must be paid in full when ordering.

Payments accepted are checks, cash, transfer and paypal and credit card via Stripe.

The balance is due no later than 48 hours after the service and before delivery of the photos.

3-Cancellation or postponement

Cancellation by the client: if you need to cancel your session, the deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation by MR&MW: if for some unforeseen reason I am unable to undertake the session, I will return the deposit in full.

Bad weather: MR&MW will ultimately decide if weather and lighting conditions are sufficient to carry out the session; if not, we will reschedule.

4-Photographic works

The delivery of digital files will be in jpeg format in full resolution & web format. All photos are delivered post-processed (I do not deliver RAW files). The photographer is only juge of the editing. In case of required extra editing and if approved by the photographer, the extra work will be charged on top of the initial service.

5-Rights

The photographer remains the sole beneficiary of the right to commercially exploit the photographs.

A discount can be offered to the client when authorising the photographer to use the photos for the purposes of promoting his activity as a photographer (website, personal or professional book, exhibitions and competitions, catalog, press kit etc. or any existing or future representation process: registration cards visits, flyers, etc.)

The client only has private rights over the photographs as governed by article L122-5 of the Intellectual Property Code.

The right of private copy gives the client the right to distribute the photographs within the family circle (family, friends).

Photos signed MR&MW must not be modified or distorted by the application of filters, cropping, etc.

The client undertakes, in accordance with the legal obligation, to mention the author of the photographs during any public distribution (paper or electronic) on his part, by the following mention:
